New flexible working law for employees
Employees applying for new jobs will now be able to request flexible working as of 6 April.
An employer could refuse a request should they have a “good business reason” but it’s a positive step for job seekers looking to work flexibly.

Editors pick: ‘Buttercream Blooms’
The annual “oh dear lordy what am I going to get mother and grandmother” is a fear I face every March. Fortunately, Buttercream Blooms popped up in a local Facebook group and after drooling over the images, I knew I had to place an order.
Not only are the cupcakes stunning, a real work of art, they tasted incredible too. They’re based in the Waterside area and will be my new go-to gift for all occasions.
